Laws Are Made to Be Broken

Okay, today we learn that the pipeline operator has a terrible safety record. I gotta ask, with our incredible, country-leading regulatory mechanisms in force to protect us and our environment, why were no whistles blown? Why was this rogue company from the insane clown posse state of Texas, where the National Guard is called out to make sure the U.S. Army will not take over the state in the name of blue helicopters and new world orders, allowed to operate? Taxpayers here are spending gigabucks on regulatory enforcement, and now this? Gimme a break. Guess that’s not gonna happen.
