The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of 68-year-old Carpinteria resident Steven Soden, who sustained fatal injuries after falling from the Las Casitas Overpass on Highway 101 at around 8 a.m. Monday morning. Officials have not yet determined if the fall was intentional.
