Santa Barbara is one of TripAdvisor’s best-rated vacation rental cities, according to a curated list of “9 Can’t-Miss Summer Travel Hot Spots” posted on the TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals Blog. One of only two destinations in the West, the city received a 4.75 out of 5.0 average ranking. Eighth on the list, which caters to active families, S.B. is praised for its sunny yet temperate weather and refreshing mix of nature and city life. Despite contentious debate about whether short-term vacation rentals should be regulated or banned within the city, S.B. maintains a vibrant vacation rental market for now.
