Timely inspections were carried out; what was not timely were follow-ups and enforcement in 10 cases. We have successfully corrected that. The inspections demonstrate our inspectors were doing their job: identifying deficiencies and requiring corrections.
More than half the estimated construction cost of the State Street Master Plan covers infrastructure repair and replacement, including needed stormwater management and utility upgrades. Housing cannot be built on and along State Street without these upgrades.
