Zoom Motors, specializing in vintage cars from the 1930s to the 1970s, announced on 8/9 that it has completed renovations to a 1950s-era gas station at the corner of Milpas and Gutierrez streets. The renovations were done by AB Design Studio, which referred to the building in its former dilapidated state as “one of Santa Barbara’s notorious eyesores.” They hope that the project will spur revitalization of the Milpas corridor.
