Peeping Michael Towbes’ 80th B-Day Bash


The most well known philanthropist in Santa Barbara, Michael Towbes, celebrated his 80th birthday on July 15th under the stars of the Rotunda at Fess Parker’s Doubletree, along with 700 friends and family. The party was a fundraiser for the Granada.

A Live Auction hosted by John Palminteri & Andrew Firestone (from TV’s The Bachelor) raised thousands which were matched dollar for dollar by the generous birthday boy. Everyone who was anyone showed up to wish Happy Birthday, Mr. Towbes.

Approximately $1.2 million was raised for the Granada.
