2012 Summer Arts Preview

Independent Editors Choose This Season’s Art, Dance, Music, and Theater Highlights

The Summer Solstice Festival may be Santa Barbara’s ultimate city-wide artistic expression, but after the floats come to a halt and the balloons deflate there’s still plenty of summer art to go around. This season, art appreciators across the disciplines will be delighted to find a multitude of performances, concerts, and exhibits popping up throughout the county. Below, the Independent‘s arts editors hand select just a few of the many must-see events the coming months have to offer. For a full list of arts events, visit independent.com/events.
