Next weekend, hear Professor Declan Kennedy (www.declan.de) define and
explore the concept of ecovillages. Kennedy — who is an architect,
urban planner, permaculture designer and ecologist, and co-founder
of the Permaculture Institute of Europe and of the Global
Ecovillage Network (GEN) — has been teaching and practicing
ecological urban design since 1972 and permaculture for the past 20
years. He is currently working on the urban design for the first
full-fledged eco-settlement in Ireland. Lecture: Sat., Oct. 14,
