County Counsel Stark Announces Retirement

Santa Barbara County Counsel Stephen Shane Stark has announced he is retiring after 20 years with the county. Stark gave notice on 7/16 and publicized his plans for departure at the 7/17 Board of Supervisors’ meeting. He will stick around Santa Barbara until early next year, with his last day slated for January 28, 2008.
