John Pittman, a major player in Santa Barbara architectural circles, died on 7/29, succumbing to lung cancer at age 75. Pittman’s firm – Edwards-Pittman – had a major hand in designing many of the key institutional structures throughout Santa Barbara, including the Natural History Museum and the recent addition to the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
