UC Students Arrested for Assault in I.V.

Six UC students – Timothy Amarasingue, Adarsha Shetty, Tauliayat Siddique, Asanka Wickramarach, Lanka Wickramarach, and Supul Wickramarach – were arrested for assaulting a 19-year-old male UCSB student on 8/13. The victim was beaten unconscious in an alleged fight at 6525 Del Playa Drive. Police found him bleeding profusely, and he was rushed to the hospital. The six suspects face criminal charges and disciplinary action by the UC system.
