• On Saturday, November 3, the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center presents Chocolate de Vine, a celebration of chocolate and wine at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum (113 Harbor Wy., #190) from 7-10 p.m. The center has enlisted the help of “chocolatiers” from the Bacara, Bella Dolce, Elements, Jessica Foster Confections, Wine Cask, and many others, along with vintners from Michael~David Vineyards, Giessinger Winery, Scott Cellars, and more. •The Unity Church (227 E. Arrellaga St.) will play host to a very special concert to benefit Utah’s Best Friends Animal Society, a nonprofit operating the country’s largest non-kill sanctuary for homeless animals. • Santa Barbara City College will hold a surf swap meet benefit across from Leadbetter Beach on Saturday, November 3, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Surfboards, wetsuits, surf art, and other items will be available for purchase and trade.
