The S.B. Museum of Art is offering two Sunday afternoon lectures to enhance understanding of its exhibit Everyday Luxury: Chinese Silks of the Qing Dynasty, which features more than 90 selections of Chinese costumes and textiles covering a span of nearly 300 years.

•Sunday, January 20, at 2:30 p.m., Dale Gluckman, former curator of Costumes and Textiles at the L.A. County Museum of Art, discusses From Court to Courtyard: Women’s Dress in 19th-Century China.

•Sunday, February 3, at 2:30pm, Terese Tse Bartholomew, curator of Chinese Decorative Art at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, interprets Hidden Meanings in Chinese Costumes and Textiles.

Both lectures will take place in the Mary Craig Auditorium at the S.B. Museum of Art (1130 State St.). $5 SBMA members, $7 nonmembers. Call 884-6423 for more info.
