ForestWatch Sues For Spills
ForestWatch has filed an intent to sue Occidental Petroleum and Vintage Production for violations of the Clean Water Act, following last year’s spill into Tar Creek near the Sespe Condor Sanctuary. A $350,000 fine imposed by the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office is insufficient to induce companies to repair and replace.
