Cabrillo Blvd.) to benefit its high-quality academics, fine arts, and extracurricular programs. ‘° Roosevelt Elementary School (1990 Laguna St.) is beginning to sign up individuals to be a part of its 13th annual celebration of reading, Read with Roosevelt. On March 13, scientists, firefighters, journalists, government leaders, educators, and other members of the S.B. community will meet the school’s wonderful students and read their favorite book to one of its classes. The school encourages participants to choose books from their childhood, ones that reflect their profession or life, or simply one that moves them. Call 687-5304 to sign up or for more info.
