Community Volunteers Sought for Eastside Spring Clean-Up Day
After a streak of natural disasters has devastated our community throughout the past year, it’s more important than ever to give back to the places we call home. Do your part by donating your time at various locations east of Milpas Street this weekend during Eastside Spring Clean-Up Day. Volunteers are needed to help with graffiti removal and litter clean-up, tree plantings, electronic waste collection, creek restoration, and more. Participants should meet at Eastside Park (Soledad and Yanonali sts.) at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 30. All equipment will be supplied at meeting location. Call 897-2526 for more info.
