The State Senate Energy, Utilities, and Communications Committee met this week to discuss AB560, which would effectively increase the amount of electricity that solar customers can sell back into the state power grid from 2.5 to 10 percent. The bill enjoys widespread support from groups including the California Public Utilities Commission and the Union of Concerned Scientists, although PG&E and Southern California Edison oppose it.
