He’s gonna get you: During the past year, Wyatt the chocolate lab has become a fixture around The Independent‘s offices, and, at seven years old, is the paper’s youngest intern yet. Wyatt has been relegated to newsroom duty, which usually consists of napping on the couch next to staffer Ben Preston’s desk for hours on end. But don’t let his long periods of inactivity fool you. Although he’s no food critic (he’ll eat pretty much anything you put in front of him as if it’s the best meal ever prepared), Wyatt plans to oust Indy food editor George Yatchisin sometime in the near future. Look out, George: Wyatt speaks softly and can retrieve a big stick.
