Spring in Your Step

The Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center (524 Chapala St.) is now accepting submissions for its Spring at the JCC art show. Images of paintings, drawings, photography, and sculptures can be emailed to art@sbjf.org or dropped off in person at the center. All entries are due by Friday, February 12. Talk It Out

The Arts Fund currently is accepting applications for its 2010 Teen Mentorship program. The annual enrichment course, open to all Santa Barbara County high schoolers, pairs young artists with the area’s professional art makers in the studio environment. Upright Citizens Brigade

Executive Director of the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission Ginny Brush recently was named the Downtown Organization’s 2010 Citizen of the Year for her work on numerous successes in the Santa Barbara arts and outreach communities.
