Recently, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth reached a milestone in which 1,000 architects and engineers put their careers and reputations on the line by signing a petition to open a new investigation into the most horrific crime ever to happen on American soil. Once the shock and awe wore off, scientific principles were applied to the official story—the 9/11 Commission Report—and it was apparent that it was flawed. Severely.

Why is this important? Because this nation was led into a war, which we now know conclusively was based on inaccurate intelligence and incompetence . (Donald Rumsfeld said, “This war may last 6 days, 6 weeks, but I’d be surprised if it lasted 6 months.”) The apparent pretext for contemplating war was the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York. If a non-partisan movement consisting of professionals (not unqualified anonymous bloggers) from around the country and world are stating, with supporting documentation, that the official findings on those attacks are flawed as well, then there needs to be some accountability—because in almost 9 years, there hasn’t been any. The 9/11 Commission Report does not even address the question of WTC 7–the 47-story steel-framed building that collapsed despite not being hit by an airplane but supposedly collapsed due to three small fires. Apparently, that has never happened before. Was there a controlled demolition?

I ask you this: Is there a better way to ensure another 9/11 doesn’t happen other than getting to the truth about the original 9/11? Does it make sense that for almost a decade(!) a country with a $900 million annual military budget cannot find a guy who lives in caves, shoots weapons wearing pajamas, and eats his meals while squatting in the dirt? That’s either deliberate or a colossal embarrassment, it has to be one or the other.—Jeffrey Bellamar, principal of Bellamar Capital, USAF veteran
