S.B.’s American Red Cross Chapter, Santa Inés Mission Mills Seek Volunteers
• The American Red Cross Santa Barbara County Chapter (2707 State St.) is hosting a volunteer orientation session on Thursday, March 11, at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will learn about all volunteer opportunities currently available through our area chapter. Call 687-1331 for more info.
• On Saturday, March 6, the Santa Inés Mission Mills will hold a volunteer day for attendees to learn about potential volunteer opportunities at the Mills, like olive tree planting, upkeep of almost two-centuries-old buildings, reservoir maintenance, and more. An informational tour of the Mills will concur simultaneously. The session runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to meet at the nearby Santa Barbara Bank & Trust (2010 Mission Dr., Solvang); RSVPs are requested. Call 965-0093 for more info.
