Conference Room Named After Stanley

A newly remodeled conference room at the North County District Attorney’s Office has been named in former DA Christie Stanley’s honor. Stanley, the first female to serve as Santa Barbara County’s DA, passed away last April at the age of 61. She dedicated her legal career to public service, having served as a prosecutor for 30 years. She served less than a full term as the department’s head.
