Last week marked the official start of spring, but it appears no one told Mother Nature. For the second weekend in a row, the wet weather that never really showed up this winter drenched the South Coast with some much-needed rain. The storm rolled in powerfully before sunrise on 3/25 and continued off and on for much of the day. All told, according to Santa Barbara County rain gauges, nearly an inch fell in Lompoc, 1.3 inches in Santa Barbara proper, and more than 2 inches on San Marcos Pass.
