Opportunity to Weigh in on MTD Route Changes

Before implementing proposed changes to bus lines 1, 2, 6, 11, 15x, 23, and 25, and eliminating line 22, the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD) is soliciting public input. The first of a series of public meetings was held yesterday at the Goleta Valley Community Center. Public comment is welcome at the April 3 and May 1 MTD board meetings at 9 a.m. An April 9, 5:30 p.m. discussion at the Museum of Natural History will focus on Line 22. And the MTD plans to discuss all the changes at the April 10, 5:30 p.m. “Transit Talk” at its business office on 550 Olive Street.
