SBCAN Appoints New Executive Director

The Santa Barbara County Action Network (SBCAN) has appointed Ken Hough as its executive director after Joyce Howerton — one of the organization’s founding members and its North County vice president for many years — recently stepped down from the helm. Hough worked for the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments in the 1980s before serving as director of Community Planning and Operations and in other executive positions at the Sacramento Area Council of Governments for 22 years. He retired four years ago and recently moved back to Santa Barbara.
