Michele is a native of upstate New York. She graduated with a degree in international economics and German from the School of Foreign Service/Georgetown University and has a Masters in Business Administration from NYU. She also received a Fulbright Scholarship to the Economics University of Vienna, Austria.

The majority of Michele’s professional career has been spent with Citigroup, as Vice President in the Private Banking division. Since moving to Santa Barbara, Michele has been active as a Certified Financial Planner. Volunteer commitments have included the Junior League of Santa Barbara, Lobero Associates, Community Arts Music Association, Daughters of the American Revolution and Court Appointed Special Advocates. She has served as a CASA advocate for foster children and on the organization’s board as board president.

Michele enjoys spending time with her husband, Andre, and dog, Bo, as well as cooking, reading and playing tennis.
