Santa Barbara Helicopter Tours to Fly Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara CaliGirls to Present Trophy to Polo Match Winners this Sunday
On Sunday, September 15th, Chief Pilot and co-owner, Dan Casey from Santa Barbara Helicopter Tours in conjunction with the Santa Barbara Polo & Athletic Club is giving 4 teen girls from the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara a once in a lifetime opportunity. On Sunday, they will fly from the Santa Barbara airport to land on the Santa Barbara Polo & Athletic Fields in order to present the trophies to the winning polo teams during their 1pm and 3pm games, in celebration of Boys & Girls Club Appreciation Day. The teen girls, named ‘CaliGirls’ have never been on a helicopter or attended a polo match before, so they are thrilled with the opportunity.
This is a feel-good story opportunity, and we would appreciate it if you would bring out a photographer or journalist to share the event with the Santa Barbara community. There will be photo opportunities available as the girls step off of the helicopter at approximately 12:30 and when they present the trophies at approximately 2:30pm and 4:30pm.
Santa Barbara Helicopter Tours is also supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara during the month of September by donating 10% of revenue from tours generated from this coordinated community effort with the Club. They have also donated a tour for 2 guests to be raffled off at the Club’s Annual Breakfast that will be held on October 10th. Call or email Santa Barbara Helicopters in advance to book a reservation; mention the donation for the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Barbara and 10% of your ticket price or gift certificate purchase will be donated right off the top.
