Mocking the locals who don’t understand that water waste hurts everyone in the land.

It felt so dry last night I

sprayed down my sidewalks,

They shimmered in the night sky

and made the spiders balk;

In morning it was still dry

so I did my rain dance,

My faucet’s leak beats so fly

I fell into a trance;

At mid-day it still felt dry

so I watered the lawn,

The mist kissed the arid sky

like fog or dew at dawn;

At night it was still quite dry

but no drops would come out,

I became blue because I

now felt dry as the drought.
