Pretty Polly is a real sweetheart. The poor thing was found in a park. She is an adult female Harlequin mix and is very friendly and used to human attention. Harlequin rabbits are playful, docile, and intelligent. Like most breeds, they can be trained to respond to their own name and even be litter box trained. They are gentle, so they would be ideal pets for kids. Polly would be happiest as a house rabbit where she can be part of the family. Every rabbit sheltered at B.U.N.S. is spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter (B.U.N.S.) is a volunteer organization that cares for abandoned rabbits. B.U.N.S is located at the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter, 5473 Overpass Rd. B.U.N.S. works to find bunnies permanent homes, and educates the public on caring for a companion rabbit. You can call the County Shelter at 805-681-5285 or call B.U.N.S. at 805-683-0521 and leave a message for someone to call you back. B.U.N.S. is always looking for donations, either monetary or in the form of food for the rabbits, as they require lots of fresh veggies every day.
