    County Approves IV Master Plan

    Planning Process Began in 2000

    The county Board of Supervisors voted unanimously on 8/21 to approve the Isla Vista Master Plan. Since 2000, more than 60 meetings have been held to fine-tune the plan. Though some residents object, Ken Warfield—chairman of the I.V. Recreation & Park District—said that the plan will treat individual improvements as part of the dynamic of the entire community.
