Angela Kelly is the director of a nonprofit called Project
Renaissance that utilizes art to empower at-risk teens. Working in
conjunction with the city’s Parks and Rec Department, City@Peace,
and PUEBLO, Kelly throws “Art Parties” where kids can go on a
Friday night. Teens can paint and make multimedia art from 6:30 to
8:30 p.m. every Friday night at the Harding Recreation Center at
1607 Gillespie Street. Materials and refreshments are provided, and
no art experience is necessary. Call 541-7835.
