Jack-knifed Truck Closes Freeway
A semi truck carrying nitrogen-refrigerated liquid jackknifed on southbound Highway 101 just south of the Milpas Street off-ramp at around 2:30 p.m. on 11/15, shutting down traffic on that side of the highway until the vehicle could be removed. The Santa Barbara City Fire Department and Caltrans cleaned up the spill and moved the truck.
