In a ceremony held at the Four Seasons Biltmore on 11/15, actor John Travolta received an award for a lifetime of distinguished achievement in acting. The award-the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in film-was presented by Douglas himself on behalf of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
