CBD Delivers Complaint to US Fish and Wildlife Service

The Center for Biological Diversity delivered a 14-page complaint against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for failing to protect the “critical habitats” of 13 endangered species in Oregon, New Mexico, and California, alleging that political corruption influenced the service’s decision to allot only 10 percent of the proposed 4.1 million protected acres. The service stated that expanding the California red-legged frog’s habitat would harm industry in the area.
