Dispensary Regulation Debate Continues

In the ongoing debate about how to regulate marijuana dispensaries in the City of Santa Barbara, Planning Commissioners are split as to which approach to take. At their 2/7 meeting, two commissioners were in favor of location and operational restrictions while four commissioners favored a less restrictive approach. According to Senior Planner Danny Kato, the City Attorney does not require formal action by the commission at this time.
