The Santa Barbara Humane Society will be specially opened on Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so that people can visit–or reclaim–pets evacuated from the Tea Fire. An announcement this evening from County of Santa Barbara spokesperson William Boyer said that 105 cats, 55 dogs, five barnyard animals, and 35 “miscellaneous animals” are currently being sheltered.
