This afternoon, the Montecito Association announced that it would be offering assistance to those affected by the Tea Fire. The group’s Web site will be updated to provide links to important resources and information to assist those in need of basics like clothing, shelter, and financial support. The site will also be advising residents how to prepare for future emergencies. Further information aims to advise those beginning to rebuild. Those embarking on this path can also stop by the Montecito Association office and pick up a free copy of the group’s guide to rebuilding and remodeling, which a press release that “describes the County permitting process [and] contains important reference and contact information.”

The Montecito Association is also organizing a community forum for mid-December.
