If you’re looking for ideas for a more secular family outing this season, head on over to the Ty Warner Sea Center at the S.B. Museum of Natural History (211 Stearns Wharf) to take part in the latest of their Species 101 educational series. Kids ages 4 and older can see and touch a living sea star while learning about this unique marine species (How do they move? What do they eat?) and creating their very own ocean-themed holiday gifts. Saturday, December 20, from 10-11:30am. Admission is $15 for members; $20 for nonmembers. Preregistration is required. Call 962-2526 x110 for more info.
