Old Spanish Days Historic Event
Though Fiesta week isn’t until August 5-9, the unofficial kick-off is the La Primavera celebration, which takes place Sunday, May 17, 4-9 p.m. at the Carriage and Western Art Museum (129 Castillo St., 962-2353). In addition to dinner, dancing, and a silent auction, El Presidente Anthony Borgatello will reveal the official Fiesta Poster and Pin for 2009. And as a special treat, the Spirit of Fiesta will perform her first public dance for attendees. Make sure to don your Fiesta attire or western dudes for the event. Seating is limited.
