Culture for Kids

Eager to foster a love of the arts in the most youthful Santa Barbarans, UCSB’s Arts & Lectures is launching its first Kids Culture Connection (KCC) discount program as part of its 50th-anniversary season. KCC will be offering a 50-percent discount for admission to select programs for as many as two students in grades K-12 with the purchase of one adult ticket. • Yamato: Sunday, October 18, at 7 p.m. UCSB’s Campbell Hall.

• Suzanne Farrell Ballet: Wednesday, October 21, at 8 p.m. Granada Theatre (1214 State St.).

• Carolina Chocolate Drops: Friday, November 6, at 8 p.m. UCSB’s Campbell Hall.

• Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre: Friday, November 13, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, November 14, at 2 and 8 p.m. Granada Theatre (1214 State St.).
