Artists Converge at Ojai Spoken Word Literary Event
Thursday, October 29, from 6-8 p.m., Central Coast prose and poetry writers will converge at this month’s Broken Word Happy Hour at all-organic restaurant and grocery store Farmer and the Cook (339 W. El Roblar Dr., Ojai). As you listen to this month’s featured performers-journalist Nancy Gross, Ojai poet Robert Peake, farmer Johnny Fonteyn, and Farmer and the Cook owner Steve Sprinkel-participants will enjoy organic, locally grown food and wine, and a festively designed venue that’s been decorated around a scary theme.
