A Magical Halloween Journey: By the light of a bonfire and candlelit lanterns, small groups of children will be led by Angel Guides on a non-scary journey through a pumpkin patch filled with fantastical characters. Saturday, October 31, at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the Waldorf School (401 N. Fairview Ave., Goleta). $5 per child/$3 per accompanying adult. Call 967-6656.

Scorpio Rising: The Contemporary Arts Forum will showcase the winners of this year’s annual pumpkin carving contest and dish out fabulous prizes, while adults enjoy fall-themed wine tastings. Friday, October 30, from 5-7 p.m., at CAF (653 Paseo Nuevo). Call 966-5373.
