Capital Improvement Projects Stalled

The County Board of Supervisors, facing a $30-something million deficit, decided to postpone taking action on requests from county staff for two capital improvement projects, citing the need for more information and more time to process the requests. One of the projects is a possible upgrade to a computer program in the tax collector’s office, and the other is a requested improvement and expansion of an IT room in North County. The supervisors will be laying out their individual plans to address the budget deficit on 3/16.
