Simple® Shoes, a Southern California sneaker company based in Santa Barbara, signs professional surfer and artist Tyler Warren, as a member of its brand advocate team. In addition to an athletic sponsorship, Warren will create art for marketing, consult on product design, and appear in a number of global marketing initiatives for the brand.

“Tyler truly embodies the ‘simple life,’ expressed through his artwork and love of surfing, and our team is incredibly excited to tap into his creativity,” commented Will Pennartz, Simple’s marketing manager. “This isn’t a typical athlete sponsorship though; we are inviting Tyler into the brand for a chance to impart some of his vision and insight onto our sneakers.”

The 24-year-old artist, board shaper, and surfer has exhibited his vintage surf-inspired artwork in Southern California, New York, Honolulu, Tokyo, Sydney, Paris and London, among other cities.
