Matson Leaves for Goleta Water District

David Matson, head of the county’s Housing and Community Development Department, is leaving the county for the Goleta Water District, where he will work under his former boss, John McInnes. McInnes was once the county’s director of Long Range Planning and is now the Water District’s general manager. Matson was with the county for several years, and was heavily involved in the emPowerSBC program, a low-cost financing program for residents to make their homes more green.
