Next weekend, the Community Environmental council is hosting its annual fundraiser, with this year’s theme being an eco-chic earth extravaganza in the form of a gypsy village. The night features tarot card readers, organic wines, dinner from Full of Life Flatbread, and a live auction. Items to bid on include an authentic gypsy caravan built using reclaimed wood, organic paint, recycled fabrics, and a solar panel. After the food and events, Tina Schlieske and the Graceland Exiles band will get the crowd up and dancing. The cocktail-attire event takes place Friday, October 21, at 6 p.m. at the Santa Barbara Armory (700 E. Canon Perdido St.). Tickets are $275 per person. To RSVP, contact Kathi King at (805) 963-0583 x108 or kking@cecmail.org. For more information, visit cecsb.org.
