The Chumash Indians Foundation, hosting its second annual dinner, celebrated dozens of local charities on 10/28. The foundation, which doled out $1.4 million last year, gave service awards in five categories to nonprofits, including Santa Barbara Channelkeeper, Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Santa Barbara County Education Office.
