Cheating in Space Race?

I am surprised this hasn’t gotten more press coverage since this was released a few years ago. The rocks supposedly from the moon ended up actually being petrified wood when they were finally analyzed. Why is this a big deal? Well only because the lunar landing was the largest technical achievement by mankind. I have always been puzzled by the fact that no human being has ever been launched into space beyond 400 miles from earth (which is Space Shuttles altitude)…all except for the Apollo missions, they went on an astounding 500,000 mile roundtrip with 1969 technology. China, India, Japan, Russia…no other country has attempted that feat. China has said they’d like to plan a moon mission possibly between the years 2025 to 2030!

Why would we possibly lie about the moon landing? Consider the era. It was the height of the Cold War. The Soviets had launched a man into space earlier that year and people in the United States were terrified that the Soviets could launch missiles from space. I’m just saying: If the moon rocks are fake, what else about the Apollo missions were fake? Perhaps more important, why has mainstream media in the US ignored this? Thankfully we have truly independent sources such as our Santa Barbara Independent to get some real conversations going.
