I am saddened to see for a second week in row that Tom Tomorrow is missing. This was a vital part of my weekly reading and often the first article I looked for each week. I humbly ask you to resume printing it. – Kristian Kvilekval, UCSB

Not sure what Tom Tomorrow did to warrant cancellation (if this is what happened) but nothing he includes in his strip is even remotely as surreal or scarifying as the real-life political pink slime he mines his material from. We need Mr. Tomorrow’s humor now more than ever, and in this instance of art imitating life, please don’t shoot the artist. – Mike Mullins, Carpinteria

I agree with Marie Sedona Vigliotta: Bring back the calendar section! It did not need to change and functioned very well. To direct readers of the PAPER to go ONLINE for complete information seems illogical to what a PAPER should be doing. Furthermore, how can you circle or highlight the events, and keep them handy for review or reminder? The previous format was clear, simple and easy to use, chock full of information, and not glitzy.
