This new Santa Barbara-based nonprofit organization was recently launched to educate both the general public and the medical community about this little-known, serious neurological disorder.

Sanchez is a professional organizer and the owner of Organize & Prosper, LLC. In addition to the ICA, Sanchez works with other nonprofit organizations including: Brett’s Blessings, Baker Elementary School PTO, Gentle Creeks Estates Homeowners Association, Prosper Soccer Association, and Prosper Youth Sports Association. She hopes to make young families affected by Chiari aware of the ICA and will help coordinate fundraising events. Sanchez received her undergraduate degree from University of California, San Diego and her MBA in Marketing from California State, Los Angeles.

“Jen Sanchez has a heart the size of Texas,” said ICA Founder and President Pete Dal Bello. “The high school reunion she organized in 2010 helped inspire what would later become the ICA. Jen has vast nonprofit leadership experience that will help raise awareness about Chiari, and assist in our fundraising efforts.”

Sanchez graduated from Santa Barbara High School and now lives in Prosper, TX with her husband, Chris Sanchez (also SBHS Class of 1990), and their two daughters.
